The Fleetzero Leviathan 72.4 kWh battery is a next generation of Lithium Ion Phosphate (LFP) module. Designed to exceed ABS and DNV standards by combining the inherent safety of LFP chemistry and cell to cell thermal runaway protection in a high density format.

Our "Plug-and-Power" modularity allows you to scale from a single string to a multi-megawatt array without expanding switchboard footprint.

Fleetzero’s patent-pending Kraken DC-hub included in the Leviathan battery system enables integrators to design systems of any size from 1 to 10 strings with a single switchboard connection. This reduces switchboard costs by ~90%, installation and commissioning time compared to other marine batteries.

The Leviathan ESS Battery System comprises of up to ten 579 kWh strings, yielding 5.8 MWh, and an unlimited number of systems per vessel.

The design is built to be deployed across a wide range of vessel types. Paired with it is the Kraken DC-hub, the DC switchboard that manages power distribution across the system.

Together they form a turnkey backbone for hybrid-electric and fully electric propulsion. The Leviathan™ recently earned a Product Design Assessment from ABS, making it the first US-manufactured LFP marine battery system to receive classification society approval.
